Unafraid to take a shot at controversial singer Chris Brown, Drake insisted he is better than the “Don”t Judge Me” singer, and claims a hookup with Rihanna on East Village Radio on Friday (April 12).
Speaking with host Elliott Wilson, the Canadian rapper addressed the media”s constant obsession with the feud with Brown, saying, “Dont ask me sh*t about that man when I come up there and leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities.
Further explaining, he added, “His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that Im more popping than him, and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap.”
Referring to the 23-year-old”s history of domestic violence with Ri-Ri, Drake noted, “I did what a real n***a would do and treated her with respect. So she”s not up there talkin” down on me.”
Hoping to keep things between the parties, he shares, “We have a[n] issue, and it”s either gonna drag out or maybe in 10 years we”ll laugh about it over drinks, but just let us solve that s**t.” Check out the interview below that contains language that may be offensive to some listeners.
