In the entertainment industry sometimes personal problems take a backseat to career duties, but Cory Monteith decided to miss out on the final two episodes of Glee this season to check into a substance abuse rehab center and get his life in order.
According to a report, Monteiths character Finn will be absent from the storyline while he gets help, and his costars and the rest of the team are all on board with his decision.
Creator Ryan Murphy took to his Twitter account today, noting, I am so proud of Cory Monteith and love and support him 100 percent.
A statement from 20th Century Fox declared, “Cory is a beloved member of the Glee family and we fully support his decision to seek treatment. Everyone at the show wishes him well and looks forward to his return.”
