Celebrities spread royal baby fever on Twitter
The day the world has been waiting for has arrived. Pregnant Kate Middleton was admitted to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington just before six o’clock on Monday morning, meaning the royal baby is officially on its way.

Naturally, stars have already begun to take to social media network Twitter in great anticipation of the arrival of Britain’s future monarch, which could come today.

Kelly Osbourne captured the essence of the nation’s feeling in her tweet: “Its all so exciting The Royal Baby is on the way!”

British journalist and TV presenter Piers Morgan joined the guessing game by sharing his royal baby prediction with Twitter fans. “PREDICTION: A boy, called George, weighing 8lbs 2oz.”

A man who can empathise with first-time father-to-be Prince William is Ben Fogle. The 39-year-old adventurer is also waiting for a baby to arrive – that of his younger sister Tamara.

The dad-of-two, who recently wrote about the ‘magical time’ of having a baby on The Telegraph, tweeted: “Like buses. You wait for ages and then two come along at the same time…….#theotherbaby”.

Singer-songwriter Katie Waissel ‏wrote, “Can’t believe the #royalbaby is on the way! How exciting!! Im on full #babywatch today! Muzeltov!”, while TV presenter Katy Hill shared her royal baby fever with: “Why am I properly #excited about a baby I will probably never meet I guess it’s just new life = #EXCITING! #RoyalBaby”.

Accompanied by her husband Prince William, the Duchess is safely in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s in the early stages of labour.

If born on Monday, the royal baby will share its birthday with Selena Gomez, Ben Foden, Rhys Ifans, Willem Dafoe, Terence Stamp and Bonnie Langford.
