Blake Shelton to Host Healing in the Heartland Benefit Concert in Oklahoma

After tornadoes devastated his home state earlier this month, Blake Shelton is teaming up with NBC to air a benefit concert to help the victims of the natural disasters.

Next week, Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert will be broadcast live from Chesapeake Arena in Oklahoma City and will aid the United Way of Central Oklahoma May Tornadoes Relief Fund.

Speaking about the event, the “Voice” judge shared, “Everyone has their way to help, and mine as an entertainer is to perform to help raise money and awareness for this tragedy. This is why I want to do this special and especially hold it in Oklahoma City, which is near ground zero.”

Taking the stage that night along with the 36-year-old country crooner will be his wife, Miranda Lambert, Vince Gill, Carrie Underwood, and Reba McEntire. Scheduled to make appearances are Luke Bryan, Rascall Flatts, and Ryan Tedder of One Republic. Healing in the Heartland will air on May 29th at 9:00pm on many NBC networks.
