In recent weeks, Kim Kardashian has been criticised for deciding to end her marriage to Kris Humphries after 72 days.
But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has clearly decided not to engage in the controversy, and is instead pouring her energy into helping others.
On Wednesday, Kim showed up at the Los Angeles Mission to help dish up a traditional Thanksgiving meal to the homeless.
With her hair tied back, sleeves rolled up and wearing an apron, the star set to work serving up potatoes and gravy to regular customers.
Clearly on a roll after her good deed, the brunette immediately took to her Twitter to reflect on the experience.
“Just left the LA Mission. Met so many kind hearted people!” she said.
“Their goal is to feed 120,000 people by the end of the year! We fed so many today”
She also urged others to get more involved in social projects, saying: “Everyone of us can do something small that will make a huge difference to someone else.”
Also helping out at the soup kitchen was Hollywood stalwart Kirk Douglas, Jennifer Lover Hewitt and Avatar actress, Zoe Saldana.
