Beyoncé, Jay Z and Solange put on united front in first pictures together since video leak

Beyoncé, her sister Solange and her husband Jay Z were pictured together for the first time since they were captured on camera in a physical dispute in a hotel lift at the Met Gala.

The trio put on a united front on a family day out in New Orleans, attended by Beyoncé and Solange”s mother Tina as well as Solange”s boyfriend Alan Ferguson.

Blue Ivy and Solange”s nine-year-old son Daniel were also in tow for the family lunch on Saturday, of which Beyoncé shared several snaps on her Tumblr page.

The family are captured smiling happily at a courtyard restaurant – an idyllic scene that is a far cry from the footage leaked from a hotel recently in which Solange was seen attacking Jay Z.

Fans the world over were shocked when images of the 29-year-old being held back by a bodyguard in the lift of The Standard Hotel at the Met Gala were released.

Beyoncé, who did not get involved in the incident, has since revealed in a statement that the pair “have both apologised to each other.”

“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” read the statement.

It continued: “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”

The statement came after The Standard Hotel confirmed that it had identified and fired the employee who leaked the security camera clip of Solange Knowles” scuffle with Jay Z.
