Beyonce Calls for Moment of Silence in Light of Trayvon Martin Trial

With all the hype from George Zimmerman”s trial on Saturday (July 13), Beyonce Knowles called for a moment of silence during her concert.

The “Single Ladies” singer”s Nashville show began just 30 minutes after the Zimmerman verdict began to circulate and B said to her audience, “I”d like to have a moment of silence for Trayvon.”

According to reports, the 31-year-old followed with the chorus of “I Will Always Love You” before transitioning into her hit “Halo.”

George Zimmerman was found not-guilty for the murder of Martin by a six-woman jury.
