On her new-found love for dance:
“I was actually never a dancer. I just fell in love with the script – so I had to freestyle my way into the audition.”

On her struggles with dyslexia:
“Acting isn”t a side thing- you have to live and breathe it. And I have to work extra hard because I am dyslexic. People said that I couldn”t be an actress, but I”m proving them wrong. Acting has helped me overcome the challenge.”

On her future plans:
“After “Shake It Up,” I want to do films, dramatic roles – and I also want to go to college. USC!”
