After being MIA since her hospitalization during the presidential inauguration, Barbara Walters is ready to return to her seat on “The View.”
On Tuesday morning, the 83-year-old journalist phoned into the show to announce that she would be back on Monday. Speaking with the whole crew, including her substitute, Brooke Shields, she shared, “I really miss you.”
Explaining her decision and assuring them that she is not contagious, Babs continued, “They wanted me to have rest and I”ve had enough rest.”
After falling and cutting her head in Washington in January, Ms. Walters came down with the chickenpox, further lengthening her absence from the show. Catch Barbara”s return on Monday, March 4th at 11:00am ET on ABC.
