Looking like she may have emerged from the Thunderdome, Avril Lavigne filmed her new music video for “Rock N Roll” in Palmdale, California on Thursday (July 25).
The “Sk8er Boi” singer donned a green strapless top, a mini camouflage skirt, black studded knee-high boots, and a black helmet with bullets draped over her shoulder.
In the newest track off of her upcoming album, the rebellious 28-year-old songstress declares, “I am the motherfreaking princess.”
Speaking about the song “Growing Up” to MTV News, Avril describes, “It”s about wanting to be young forever. Doesn”t matter what age you are; it”s all about your spirit, state of mind. And I know I certainly don”t want to grow up, so there are more songs on the record like this.”
