With her CW series “The Carrie Diaries” continuing its success on the small screen, AnnaSophia Robb soaks up the spotlight by covering the May 2013 issue of Seventeen magazine.
After showing off her adorable figure in a floral one-piece swim suit for the Matt Jones-shot front page, the 19-year-old actress opened up about everything from handling girl drama to turning down an offer to attend Sanford University.
“I think girls are especially worried about being judged, and when you”re in high school, everything seems like a bigger deal than it is,” AnnaSophia declared. “As soon as you”re out, it feels like forever ago – dip-a-dee-doo-dah! So do what you want, and if people are going to judge you for it, who cares You might not fit in, but that”s ok. Everyone thought I was weird in high school!”
With prom season just around the corner, Miss Robb shared the story of how she was asked to the big dance. “I love carrots and [my guy friend] left me a trail of carrots to follow. First there was a carrot in my locker. Then there was one in my car. Then there were carrots in my house all over my room – even in my shoe! The last carrot said, “If you carrot all, lettuce go to prom.””
In regards to pursuing her career instead of college, the “Soul Surfer” beauty revealed, “I”m a really spiritual person. So I prayed and thought about [choosing “The Carrie Diaries” over college] but I trusted my gut, because what else do you have to go on”
