Amanda Bynes Placed Under 30-Day Emergency Hold; Mom Granted Temporary Conservatorship

Her situation keeps getting worse, as Amanda Bynes was ordered into doctors care for 30 days of further psychiatric treatment.

According to a report, the Hairspray actress was ruled as too unstable to attend her conservatorship hearing and the judge was called to the hospital to conduct an emergency hearing during which Bynes was placed under an extended hold.

Amandas current status is the result of her being found to be gravely disabled as a result of a mental disorder.

Meanwhile, Bynes parents have been pursuing a temporary conservatorship in order to maintain control of her finances and the request was just granted.

According to Us Weekly, Judge Glen. M. Reiser said the conservatorship gives Bynes” mother the “right to control placement and right to determine medical care.” The judge also added, “Provisionally does not have ability to contract other than minor conservatory matters. Essentially you”re the boss.”
