Alec Baldwin Pokes Fun at American Airlines on Saturday Night Live

On Saturday Night Live, an American Airlines pilot named Capt. Steve Rogers – looking suspiciously like Alec Baldwin in a hat and fake mustache – spoke out about the actor getting kicked off a plane.

“It was awful, Seth,” Rogers, speaking in a broad Southern accent, tells Weekend Update host Seth Meyers, “which is why it was very important for me to come here tonight and on behalf of everyone at American Airlines issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin.”

A sheepish-looking Meyers asks, “Alec, are you sure this is the right way to handle this”

Rogers brushes him off and continues, “Mr. Baldwin is an American treasure and I am ashamed of the way he was treated.” – Mike Fleeman
