It seems she can do no wrong these days, and Adele has just added yet another accolade to her resume- her 21 album was named the top-selling record of 2012!
The Rolling in the Deep songstress opus moved 8.3 million units worldwide last year, a feat it also accomplished in 2011 when it was actually released.
Add in Adeles big Oscar win for her Skyfall theme song over the weekend, and shes having a pretty fabulous week!
Coming in at number two, Taylor Swifts Red sold 5.2 million copies, while One Direction (Taylors ex Harry Styles band) nabbed both third and fourth place for Up All Night (4.5 million) and Take Me Home (4.4 million).
In the singles realm, Carly Rae Jepsen is queen with 12.5 million sales of Call Me Maybe. Gotyes Somebody That I Used to Know was runner up with 11.8 million, and Psy scored third with 9.7 million in sales of Gangnam Style.
