Adam Lambert is chagrined by his involvement in an alleged alcohol-fueled altercation with his boyfriend, Sauli Koskinen, in Finland earlier this week, but says the reports about the incident have been exaggerated.
“Violence is not to be taken lightly. Embarrassed by drunkenness. No punches thrown, no injuries and no charges. Media always exaggerates,” the singer Tweeted Thursday night.
Lambert, 29, and Koskinen, 26, were reportedly taken to jail early Thursday morning in Helsinki where Koskinen is a reality TV star, after getting into a fight in a well-known gay club. Police were investigating possible assault charges, but nothing was filed.
The couple was released soon after, and Lambert later made light of the incident on Twitter, saying he and Koskinen were “laughing about it” and had made up over “hangover burgers.”
